The Blue Water Arts Council of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County is providing $10,000 in funding to coordinate the implementation of the first large scale public arts project in Port Huron.
Beginning this July, fifteen major art pieces will be installed and displayed throughout downtown Port Huron. The pieces will be displayed for two years through a program with the Sauve Art Foundation out of Brighton, Michigan. Other cities such as Royal Oak and Birmingham have also collaborated with the Sauve Art Foundation to bring public art to their downtowns.
